Need to be able to easily reassign the Primary Key field and you should also be able to define a formula for the Primary Key.

Hi Peter, thanks for the feedback! You should now be able to set your Formula as the display field by going to Settings > Display Name select a formula field. You cannot convert the Display field by dragging a field over it or changing the field type it needs to be done under Settings.
