Use current user data in action buttons
I see a lot of potential in being able to identify who clicked a button. For example, an action button that changes data could automatically log who made the last change (either via linked field to 'users' table, or by entering email address or name)
Activity tab notes - data being stored in Airtable
Everything in stacker can be stored in airtable, with the activity tab notes being 1 big exception. Not sure why this hasn't been added yet. I'm not going to use a feature where I'm unsure if I'll ever be able to get the data out. This is my #1 issue
Change Row Color with conditions
I want to change the color of rows when certain field values or conditions are met. I have an invoice record list. and I want to change the row color of all overdue invoices in a light red for example.
Quick Links on List Layouts
It would be useful to be able to include QuickLinks widget on a List Layout page.
Allow users to export all attachments in a page
With the CSV export you can export all fields. In addition, it is useful to be able to export all attachment fields.
Allow renaming of inline filters
Currently you can't change the wording that appears on an inline filter without changing the label that appears on the list layout (or the underlying field name). I want to be able to adjust the wording that appears on my inline filters independently of the field name.
Filters for Linked Fields
I would love to see filters for linked fields. The filter would function like a drop-down that would limit the items you can select in the linked field. I can think of quite a few applications for this. MiniExtensions has this functionality and it is amazing! You can add any number of single-select, multi-select, or linked fields from the table you are linking from. https://miniextensions.com/filter-linked-records-in-miniextensions-form/ A few applications: Time tracking: Your company tracks time by projects and sub-tasks of each project. You could add a linked field to sub-task, and filter the list by the project. Order forms: You are generating quotes or invoices using Stacker, and adding line items. Your backing base has two tables: products and product configurations. For example, we sell the same chain hoist with different lengths of chain. Same product, different configuration. You really want to attach the "configuration" to the order form, but would like to filter the list by product or brand so you can find the SKU more quickly. Addresses: You could filter states/provinces by country.
Conditional visibility for individual fields.
I like the ability to show and hide fields sets based on conditions, but I would also like to see the ability to show or hide individual fields within those sets. My primary interest is in hiding individual fields that are blank. This would make it display nicer for users, but could also, if you were able to set the condition to only show blank fields, allow for a field set that shows only those fields that are missing data and still require user input. That would make it super easy to gather missing information. You could also add potentially use this to add a field set at the bottom of a page that is editable which says "requires further input".
Activity to Stacker Databases
Its imperative that we have a way to access “Stacker activity/comments”.. Without an export feature of any kind this vital information is inaccessible if we try to build a new app with our same data, or migrate to a new solution. Since the feature relies on stackers internal database structure, could it not be turned on from one of the Stacker database sources? Do they not speak to the stacker infrastructure? Perhaps with a record id from the original record its related to?
